Functional Roles for Project/Maintenance/Procurement
Provide a professional, first class, consistent and effective project management service to the clients, including project monitoring and reporting systems in accordance with standards and specifications.
Motivate Zero Accident policy by implementing International Safety standards which includes maintaining housekeeping in all areas.
Review subcontractor proposals and documentation to ensure subcontractor is operating within the contractual procedures.
Identifying or development of appropriate potential strategies and framework contracts for the project requirement and confirm successful engagement.
Assist in preparation of scheduling concerns and constraints are highlighted and escalated to the Management team.
Participates in constructability reviews in development of constructability log issues/ideas.
Provide detailed input for compilation of the business plan and production of the possessions plan.
Provide a development of safety plans and other associated documentation.
Periodically monitoring the work execution to ensure safe and environmentally sound work practices are used.
Implementation of the Work Processes as stipulated within the Execution Plan and Quality Plan and generating new where required.
Looks for opportunities to improve work processes and methodologies using Six Sigma processes wherever applicable.
Interfaces with Construction Managers & Contractors during planning of the work to facilitate realistic and efficient work methodologies.
Assist to Providing Field Engineering Support to the Construction Team.
Detailed reports for the implementation of the Construction Quality Management systems
Assist to keep the project team motivated and focused to achieve the project objectives.
Assist to obtain required approvals from the appropriate Licensing Authorities.
Prepares bidder pre-qualifications, bidder’s lists, bid solicitation, bid analysis.
Communicates with suppliers with clear definition of requisitioning, construction, tools and consumables using strong supplier negotiations focused on delivering overall value versus lowest price on all consumables.
Oversees the preparation of MR’s reviewing documentation including commercial invoices reviewing packing list and bills of lading for completeness and accuracy upon receipt of goods.
Reviews the accomplishment of physical inventories on a timely basis to ensure valid records are continuously maintained.
Perform periodic inventory checks to balance, cycle or update existing inventories and discrepancies.
Maintains custody of Materials as needed.
Preparation and maintenance of Inventory Control Records (manual and automated)
